Frequently asked questions.
What can I expect to pay?
Each 50-minute session is $175. You will receive a Good Faith Estimate outlining anticipated costs based on frequency of services.
How can I pay for services?
Payments are due in full at the time of session. I accept all major credit cards. If you have out-of-network benefits, I can provide an itemized receipt or “superbill,” that you can then submit to your insurance provider for possible partial reimbursement.
What is the No Surprises Act?
The No Surprises Act, which is part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021, is designed to protect you from receiving unexpected medical bills. The Good Faith Estimate provision of the No Surprises Act is intended to give you an estimate of how much you will be charged for services you are receiving, prior to your appointment.
Because my per session rate is consistent ($175) the number of sessions/how frequently you attend therapy is what will ultimately influence what you can expect to pay. Frequency of treatment is impacted by clinical need and therapeutic process.
Are telehealth services available?
I am happy to meet virtually. However, please be aware that licensing restrictions require that you are physically in Maine (where I hold my active licensure) at the time of the session.
